Creation of an Corpus Based Material
Hi everyone :) Me and my friend Yaren designed a corpus-based activity that enhances the learning experience for the students. Our target audience was prep class and our topic was teaching the difference between "already, just, yet" and how to use them correctly. In our activity designing process, we aimed that our students would be able to discriminate the mentioned time expressions accurately by completing the worksheet. Another goal was to direct students into using the corpus tools effectively. Furthermore, with the help of these activities, they will be able to improve their grammatical, technological, and communication-based skills. Before we started to design our worksheet, we brainstormed our ideas and decided which activity would be suitable for our target audience and their proficiency level.
