Filming a Flipped Classroom Video
Hi everyone :) First, I should explain what a flipped classroom is. It is an approach where the learning material is given outside the classroom in a technological tool, and in-class, there is more time to practice and use different activities to enhance the learning process. The advantages of this approach in language classes, the students are free to listen and watch the video that is provided whenever they feel is the most appropriate time. They can watch it over and over again to make sure that they have learned the topic adequately whereas in a traditional, in-class approach they are not able to achieve that. As for the disadvantages, access to technology may be not possible for each student. Also, if the teacher is not qualified enough to use technology properly, the creation process of the video could be challenging.
